Balance Integrative Health & Wellness

Stephanie Grutz FNP-C, Balance Integrative HealthWelcome to Balance Integrative Health & Wellness!!

My end goal has always been to help others achieve their highest functioning health possible. What has changed is my knowledge surrounding what ‘health’ truly means. I found this out through my own personal struggles with autoimmune diseases. Conventional medicine wasn’t solving the root of my issues.  I was a nurse practitioner stuck in the conventional disease model vs the holistic model of care that I truly desired, for myself and my patients. I took initiative and went back to school taking numerous courses in Integrative Medicine and became a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. The greatest lesson I have learned is that we all are in charge of our own health. Gone are the days relying on a single person or an isolated type of medicine. All appropriate health options must be explored. Education is important in order to find what heals our own body. Everyone is wonderfully, beautifully, frustratingly (at times), created different and there is no cookie-cutter approach to wellness. As a provider, I am here to hold your hand in the journey of health and at the end of the day, you are leading the way and making the decisions that will impact your destiny.
