Mashed Potatoes – Vegan – Dairy Free – Allergy Friendly

Potatoes! They can be a staple at family parties and Holidays. With a few easy changes, the whole family can enjoy this delicious side dish!


  • 1 Bag of Organic Potatoes (your choice of type) – around 8 large potatoes
  • 8 TBS of Earth Balance Soy Free Vegan Butter
  • 1.5-2.5 Cups of Dairy free milk (we use plain Almond Milk)
  • 1 tsp of sea salt
  • Spices and herbs of your choice (options: Garlic, Onion powder, chives)

Peel potatoes and cut into small cubes. Place into pan and fill with water, just over the top of the potatoes.

Bring water to boil and let boil for around 30min. or until potatoes are soft and easily break apart. Drain water.

Next you can mash by hand or place hot potatoes in a large blender (like a Vitamix blender). Place dairy free milk, butter, salt and spices in with the hot potatoes. Mash or blend until you get the smoothness and creaminess you enjoy.

Serve warm.
