Fudge – Healthier Alternative to Fudge – Allergy Friendly Recipe

The Holidays can be hard if you have food allergies or sensitivities. Most people have some sort of sensitivity whether they know it or not. Around the holidays people can feel more bloated, have stomach pains, feel tired, and get sick easily. This is usually caused by a lowered immune system and the presence of sugars, dairy and gluten can further decrease the immune function at this time.

I want people to be able to feel like they can enjoy a sweet treat now and again… Well, lets be real, I WANT TO enjoy a sweet treat every now and again šŸ™‚

So, I crafted this fudge recipe last night and it turned out delicious!

Takes 5 Min. 4 Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Can of Organic heavy Coconut milk
  • 1/8-1/4 Cup of Organic Honey (preferably local)
  • 2 Cups of Enjoy Life Gluten Free/ Dairy Free Chocolate Chips
  • 1 splash of organic Gluten Free Vanilla (optional)
  • Nuts/Dye-Free Sprinkles (optional to sprinkle at end)

In a medium sauce pan, bring the coconut milk to a boil (watch this so that it doesn’t burn or spill over the pan)

Add in the honey

Take off the burner and add chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Add Vanilla at the end.

Take a lightly greased medium glass dish and pour contents in.

Fridge or Freeze until firm.

ENJOY <3
